Country Tales – Montalcino: echoes in a wine glass

Montalcino, a tiny small town in the heart of Val d’Orcia, gentle hills, woods and cypress boulevards, but there’s more; 3.500 hectars of specialised vineyards, 2.100 of which reserved to Brunello.
Wine has always been a means for culture and reflects the personality of the producer better than any other product; every winemaker gives something peculiar to his own wine, but they are all gathered under the name of passion and love for the country, respect and gratitude for the territory.
Often we say that a poet is needed to make a good wine, in reality what is really needed is a great artisan, someone able to mold grapes into Brunello with total devotion.
